You don't need to do it anyway because all you need is one spell of each color to be able to deal with all types of shield, even on hard the fights are a breeze until you get ganged up by alot of targets, and with no way to deal with multiple guys at once at that point it becomes a chore of dodging for a long time until you get one little window of barely damaging one guy. Combat is dull and repetitive and despite this they still chose to limit you to 4 magic slots/loadout, you have a total of 4 loadouts but switching between them during a fight with controller is clunky and slow. Gameplay is boring at best and frustrating at worst. Incredibly boring, designed by suits video game. This game is like the McDonalds of open world RPG games, it hits the spot but you'll walk away knowing you could have consumed a much better product. I think almost everything in Hogwarts Legacy is very competently done, but that doesn't stop it from feeling incredibly formulaic. If you have played literally almost any other AAA open world RPG, you've no doubt already experienced much of the type of content on offer here. The world is beautiful (Seriously this is definitely one of the best looking games currently on the market) and full of stuff to do, but most of that stuff is superficial and once again, very quickly gets repetitive. Most of the characters aren't interesting either and this is especially the case for the protagonist who has as much personality as a piece of cardboard. The story isn't interesting and while part of that is due to the fact that I know virtually nothing about Harry Potter outside of this game, I'd also chalk that up to the story in this game just not being very good. The combat while fun for awhile, has gotten EXTREMELY repetitive and easy (And it's not like the game was very challenging to begin with). I had a lot of fun with this game for awhile, but after getting halfway into the story and having done a good amount of side content, I've just gotten bored. First of all my Steam playtime isn't accurate, my actual in game time would be around 22 hours.
